Dr. Orasky loves the variety of challenges that a career in veterinary medicine brings every day. She loves meeting and educating pet owners so they can take better care of their pets, spending time with healthy pets, and the satisfaction that comes from being able to heal the sick and stop suffering. Dr. Orasky’s co-workers and team describe her as direct and fun-loving.

At home, Vanessa has a big family! She has been married to her husband Jeff Orasky for 14 years. They have three crazy and amazing kids. They have 5 cats, 2 Labradors, a guinea pig, and a corn snake.

“I love gardening. I spend most of my time when I am not at work being a Mom. I also love reading and theater. I am also on the board of a non-profit group called the Red Tent Initiative here in Lakeland that works to support victims and survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.”

One more cool fact – back in 2015 she went to Thailand for three weeks on a veterinary mission trip. The group she traveled with spayed, neutered, and vaccinated approximately 1300 animals.

Outside of work, Michael loves scuba diving, snow skiing, cars, motorcycles, and doing projects around the house.

Aryn joined the practice in 2019 after graduating from Hillsborough Community College with an Associate of Science. She is Dr. Orasky’s right hand! She has two human children and four cat and dog children at home.
